Trick or Treating at the Zoo

Hello friends and family. Thursday night Josh, Abby and I went to the zoo to trick or treat at night. It's the place to be seen not scared so there are kids of all ages there. We forgot the stroller so it got kind of long carrying Abby. The rest of our festivities will include carving her pumpking Monday night, walking down Hillcrest Ave on Sunday and then doing some trick or treating. We hope that everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!!!

Busy, Busy Fall Weekend (Alot of Pictures)

Hello friends and family.

Here's our update on Abby's fall last Sunday and her first dentist visit on Friday. We met Dr. Heidi Yang (we highly recommend sending your child to her if you live in the Louisville area) on Friday. We got there a little early to fill out paperwork and was able to see her and get out before our scheduled appointment (very cool). Dr. Yang doesn't believe there is any damage to her teeth but we won't 100% know unless we take an x-ray or until the teeth come out completely. We are just going to wait for the little guys to come out. Dr. Yang was very nice, very energetic, and very smittened by our Abby.

Friday evening we met with Josh's dad Larry for the UofL game. Abby and I just tagged along for the tailgating and when the gang left for the stadium we left to meet some friends.

UofL's cutest cheerleader ever.
*Sidenote there was a cowbell in her purse making all kinds of noise as she walked.

We met my mom's friends at their normal tailgating spot, enjoyed some pizza and watched the boys play a little cornhole. Here is Larry teaching Abby how to play cornhole.

She's a fast learner.

After we dropped the boys off we met with our friends from LaGrange Fire and Rescue at O'Charleys. After which we ran to Target with our friends the Germans. Abby and Sydnie had a great time looking at the toys and holding hands. Sydnie is going to be a great big sister.

Running through the store.
On Saturday we met with our friends the Jenkens' at Gallrein Farms to pick our first pumpkin. This farm was out in Shelbyville so it was a bit of a hike but definately worth the drive. We went through the corn maze, had lunch, and then took a hayride to the pumpkin patch. The girls were too cute and had a great time.

They had ducks but they weren't interested in us.

We found an old corn husk. She loved it.

They had HUGE beautiful mums!!
Abby ended up having a slumber party with her Gigi (Grandma Gayle) while momma and daddy went to a haunted house with friends. We had a great night with friends and Abby loved her night with Gigi. Today we are just going to relax and try to get this house cleaned.

We hope everyone had a wonderful fall weekend. We know we did. This is my favorite time of year and its so great having a spectacular family and group of friends to share it with. Now off to a calm week.

Shopping

This past weekend Abby stayed the night with my Papa (Craig) and Grandma (Kristi). On their way home they stopped at the grocery store and Abby 'shopped' with them. Abby had a wonderful time at their home. Then she came home on Sunday. She and Josh had gone for a walk and Abby took a good fall. The swelling is going down but Abby got her first fat lip and we have a dentist appointment set for Friday to check on her teeth. She's in great spirits and it doesn't seem to bother her all that much. Here is a picture from her shopping trip before her fat lip. Hope everyone is doing well.

Abby & Lily

Abby and Lily had a playdate today. Lily has started walking and it was so much fun to see the two of them interact today. They talk to one another and its just so sweet! Today we had lunch, played at the house, and then walked down to the coffee shop. Here are a few pictures of the girls having milk and cheerios at Nancys our local coffee shop.

There's pumpkins and then there are little pumpkins.

I can almost see them years later having their own convo as their mom's catch up.

Our Little Cheerleader!!

Hello all!!

This past weekend Abby was extra busy. We started the weekend off by having dinner with my mom and step-dad and then spending the night with them. Abby loves her sleepovers!! Then Saturday we went and cheered on my little brother Jake at his football game. It was also his tenth birthday and we wanted to be sure to wish him a very happy birthday. Then we drove over to Indiana to join Josh's mom in her family's reunion. It was great seeing and meeting her family!! Abby was the youngest of the 40+ there. We tried getting her to take a picture with the oldest which was Aunt Ruby but Abby was tuckered out by that point. She was super fussy. On Sunday we went to the St. James fair with our friends the Clayberns and went to cheer on our seperate teams together. Here is a picture of Abby in her Steelers chearleading outfit that her Aunt Doll had given to her.
